As a member of Sungai Budi Group, we utilizes the extensive distribution network of the Group which has been develop since 1947. Currently, the Group Network consists of 14 marketing offices, 500 trucks, and warehouses locate in major cities as well as more than 30,000 outlets.
The Group not only distributes PT Tunas Baru Lampung’s products but also those of the Group’s other member companies, including tapioca starch, rice flour, rice vermicelli and citric acid.
PT Tunas Baru Lampung has a long term distribution contract with PT Sungai Budi for the latter to distribute the products for a fixed fee per-kg. This enables PT Tunas Baru Lampung, through the Sungai Budi Group, to achieve economies of scale by utilizing the Group’s extensive marketing network throughout Indonesia.
COMMITTED TO THE CREATION OF EXPORT MARKETS
Besides being a leading supplier to the rapidly growing domestic market, at PT Tunas Baru Lampung we are also committed to the creation of exports markets. Currently, we export our crude coconut oil, stearine, palm kernel oil and crude palm oil to Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, and China. It is our intention to penetrate new export markets to further diversify our customer base.
MAJOR COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
One of our major competitive advantages in term of export is our proximity to the port of Lampung, which is only five minutes’ drive from our main production facilities.
We are fully prepared for further export increases as our vast handling facilities at the port have been designed to cater for an increase in volume.
